THE ORIGIN OF JAMONES JULIÁN BECERRO IS A STORY IN ITSELF
Adrián Becerro, father of Julián Becerro, dedicated himself to selling ham and cured meat made there in 1930 in the town of La Alberca, Salamanca province and near Guijuelo.
There the entire family at the time of slaughter was dedicated in body and soul to the production of ham and cured meat in the most artisan way possible. The best Iberian pigs, the expertise, the totally natural ingredients and the dry cold and freezing of the mountains made possible the best slaughters so highly rated in places like the capital of Spain, the great Madrid. Thus was born this family business, which is now led by the third generation.
Although many years have passed, there are things that have not changed; all the ham and cured meat are still produced in a totally natural and artisan way in La Alberca and in addition to being sold in Madrid, are sold all over the world.
What is being achieved is to adapt the company to the new times and it has been growing without neglecting quality and without losing the origin. With this constant objective, joining the Guijuelo Denomination of Origin has been possible.
